As a qualified Nutritionist & Personal Trainer, you really do get two professionals rolled into one!  Your entire body is a system, the brain, digestive organs and mechanical body all interrelate to either work with you or against you when dealing with nutrition and fitness issues.  In addition to my popular 12-week programs I am also available for personal training, one off nutrition consults, supermarket tours, exercise programs and more.  I deal with all issues including emotional eating, allergies, increasing energy, vegetarian diets, sports nutrition and much more.  I am totally mobile also, great for stay at home mums!!

The 12-week Challenge has started, but you have until Feb 22nd to book in and be part of the competition.

We've got 15 bods signed up on the program now!  There are 2 choices, the 12-week and 6-week programs.  All sessions are conducted at your home as we teach you exercise technique and strategies that you can fit into your life....gym or no gym, you will still get the same results.  Those who start the 12 week program before February 20th are eligible for the grand prize - A cut and colour from Morph hair studio, tub of protein powder and a $100 voucher for K-Mart (so many awesome, but inexpensive clothes and makeup!)

This is not a quick fix detox program and it's not full of hard to find, expensive 'health foods'.  The whole program has been extensively researched, trialled and tweaked to produce a food plan which not only focuses on portion and calories, but addresses the metabolic, hormonal, emotional, lifestyle and environmental factors which surround our nutrition and health. In addition, weekly sessions discuss and deal with food issues and questions as they pop up and build a nutrition/fitness toolbox which is relevant to you and your life and can fit in with your family.  Your exercise strategy is designed for maximum stickability - no fad exercise techniques or unused gym memberships, just exercise that suits you as the individual person you are.  Have a look at some of the results below.

Awesome results from the 2009 12-week challengers!!

Well done to W.R who lost a total of 21.1kg and 15.5cm off his tummy during the most recent 12-week Lifestyle program.  W.R has been fantastic to work with, and has shown 100% stickability through the whole 12 weeks, particularly with his exercise.  You may think that nearly 2kg of weight loss a week is extreme, well I can tell you that W.R DID NOT go carb free, nor did he starve himself.  "It was a great opportunity to make better food choices in food and learn how to exercise properly to get the best return, also making sure you eat enough for your body to work better". 
 


Sonia was another client who had an amazing result, I was rather skeptical when Sonia declared she would like to lose 10kg on the 6-week 'Mini Panic' program.  Sonia managed to lose an amazing 9.1kg.  A past knee injury made exercise a little sporatic for her, but simply by sticking 100% to her food plan she still achieved her goal and proved her trainer wrong in the process!

Jess was another superstar who lost 8.6kg on the Step-in2-Summer 10-week program.  Jess also lost 8% body fat, 8.5cm from her tummy and 6.5cm off her thighs, which is really quite an outstanding result for a leg measurement!  Melissa has also had an amazing result - a small weight loss but a massive change in her body (see the photo on the side).

Overall the total weight loss over the last 12 weeks from the group was 85.1kg.  A great result at a tricky time of year - well done to all of you!


OTHER FAB CLIENTS!

Well done to Alexandra, who has made some amazing progress with binge eating. I am simply blown away how quickly Alexandra grasped the concepts discussed and made a very strong break on a very strong habit. I recieved some wonderful feedback from Alexandra who had this to say "Having studied fitness and nutrition and weight loss myself, admitting that I needed help with my own binge eating and weight gain was a big deal. My initial expectation was that Stacey would provide a strict eating roster each week and I would go away and tick each item off the daily list, knowing that someone checking in on me would make me a better eater. The reality was different, Stacey spent time trying to understand me ... as well as a flexible meal planner to help structure my daily meals. Now that Stacey has taught me to understand my own emotional cravings, and take control of my own eating habits, the weight that I had gained is disappearing nicely.'"

Andy is one of my online clients, a powerlifter from Christchurch. The goal was to lose 15-20kg without jeapordising lifting stats. I'm pleased to report that even though Andy has also had a shoulder injury he has lost 10.8kg and maintained his strength. Now that Andy is on the mend he is looking forward to resuming his program to reach his goal weight. 

Rachael and Kip have been focusing on not only weight loss, but body fat percentage reduction, they've been doing an amazing job and had this to say: "The test went well I went from 27% bf to 24% and lost 4 kg from my previous assessment. The food plan is definitely working. Kip is going really well. Is down to 19% bf and lost about 7kg. We both feel really good...and dare I say it, it is becoming just part of our lifestyle" 
 

I have a couple of bride to be's training at the moment.  Kate is one of these 'bridezillas', but a Zilla she certainly isn't.  Kate is doing a great job and has lost 5kg already for her April wedding (the goal is around 20kg....easy peasy).  Kate is a writer for Waikato times and is keeping an awesome blog about her big day, which I can't link in my wee scrolling window. (The link to Kates blog is on the articles page, under HOT LINKS).  I'm really enjoying working with Kate and looking forward to watching the changes in her body as she gets closer to her wedding.

Stuart is also making great progress, Pretty lean to start with, Stuart has lost 8kg and really tightened up his mid section a great deal "The abs are starting to show!"  Stuart is now ready to move on to phase two of his program - halting the weight loss through food tweaks and starting to get into a muscle building program to help create a muscular body to go with the lower body fat.
